Manufactured by MTR Foods, this staple package offers a quick solution for traditional home cooking. The standard maximum retail price (MRP) for the 1 kg pouch is
- Key Ingredients: Carefully blended Rice flour, Black gram dal (Urad dal), Refined wheat flour (Maida), Rice flakes (Poha), Vegetable oil, Salt, and Fenugreek.
- Yield: The 1 kg package yields approximately 35 to 40 medium-sized, restaurant-style crispy dosas.
- No Added Preservatives: Free from artificial colors or harmful chemical preservation additives.
- Shelf Life: Typically valid for up to 12 months from the packaging date under cool and dry storage conditions
- Blend: Measure 1 cup of MTR Dosa Mix. Add 1 cup of water and 1/2 cup of fresh sour curd to create a consistent, smooth batter.
- Rest: Set the batter mixture aside for 5 minutes before cooking.
- Cook: Pour a ladle of batter onto a hot, lightly greased non-stick griddle (tawa). Spread evenly in concentric circles.
